of lock options for the Schwab Media
Cabinets. The media cabinets come
standard with a key lock and there is no
extra charge.
Here is a description of the
differences between the various options.
A digital lock is an electronic lock
which runs on a battery. The lock pulls
very little charge, so typically the
battery last a long time. You are never
locked out of your cabinet because the
batteries can be changed from the
outside. This is your best choice for
quick access. You set your own access
code and once you touch in your numbers
the access is instant. You can make your
code simple or complicated and you can
change it at any time.
If you opt for a digital and key or
combination and key, you are choosing
dual protection. Both your
code/combination and the key are
required to enter the cabinet.
Locks are located inside the handle
and not visible unless the handle
compartment is open (as shown below). |
